The Boreal Brewers supported the annual Grand Rapids Oktoberfest by providing beer logistical support – selecting and ordering beer for the event. Oktoberfest is put on the the Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation, who fund a wide variety of community needs through ongoing grants and programs.
The Boreal Brewers also served seasonal and regular homebrew throughout the event, drawing enough of a crowd to require five servers for the first couple of hours. The Community Foundation provided plenty of kegs of German and Minnesota beer, and an absolutely amazing array of very traditional German food, plus games, music, and dancing.
It was a fantastic event, and the Boreal Brewers will be at this event every year!
