BrewBlog: Wannaska Wheat
Specifics
General Information
Method: Extract

Kettle scorched some of the wheat extract.  Thought I was mixing it well.  Will try pre-mixing in 3 gallons next time.

The scorch was minor, and did not seem to add odor or off flavor.

Moved to Secondary 3/24/12.Yielded 9.75 gallons

Tried fermenting at 600F, but it wouldn't take.  I had to move it up out of the basement to the kitchen, where we keep the temp at about 64.  After a day, it took off pretty well.  Highest temp fermenting was about 680F.

I'll set a reminder on my calendar to check it for kegging on April 28th
