We lost a member of the Boreal Brewers in December 2022. Jack Bemis died after a long bout with cancer.
A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held at the Cohasset Community Center, 305 NW 1st Avenue, Cohasset, MN on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 12pm-3pm.

We also lost long-time Boreal member Jim Rack in September of 2021. Jim also had a long fight with cancer. He did not want a public gathering. Jim did a lot of beer kegging though, and he donated his equipment to the club so that we could raffle/auction all the components of his kegging equipment. We will be setting up a February 2023 meeting and will have Jim’s equipment there.

We will miss the friendship, creativity and humor of both of these brewers.
