Boreal Brewer Club Meeting!

Hey there, Boreal Brewers, friends and prospective Boreal Brewers!  We’re going to have a meeting, and you are welcome to attend.  We’ll meet at Klockow Brewing in Grand Rapids on Tuesday, November 27th, at 6 PM.  Because the bar is not open, we can bring our own beers to share.  And food.  Brewers truly make good cooks, as evidenced by the food at our potlucks.

If you are interested in our club, in learning about brewing, and possibly have beer to share, this is the place for you to be.  It’s potluck, but if you’re thinking about joining, do not worry about bringing food.  There will be plenty of food and beer to share.  I know I’ll be bringing a number of 750 ml bottles, which sometimes are just too much for one person at one sitting.  Our dues are a minimal $15 per year, which also covers liability insurance if you’re serving beer at one of our events.

We will share beer and food, talking about beer, food and brewing.  We’ll have a short business meeting, where we’ll consider what we want to plan for the next year.  We are Northern Minnesota’s longest running beer club, and are about three years away from a 30th annual celebration.  Come to our meeting, enjoy beer, food, and lots of tech talk about brewing, techniques, equipment and ingredients.  It’s a great place to get questions answered, as so many of us have branched out and become experts in various aspects of brewing.  One of us may even do a slide show on brewing with condensed Birch sap and share some Birch Mead and Birch Ale.  It’s not too early to begin planning for 2019 Maple and Birch brewing.
